We are an ideal base from which to visit Legoland and Windsor Castle, or explore the beautiful Thames Path on foot or by bicycle. The beautiful towns of Ascot, Henley and Marlow, with their famous sporting events, are close by.
Other local places of interest are Cliveden House, once home of the Astors and now owned by The National Trust, Boulters Lock, and the ancient woods at Burnham Beeches.
After a busy day as a tourist or at work, Sheephouse Manor is a tranquil resting place to recharge and relax.
Mountain bikes are available to hire, and boat trips on the River Thames are bookable locally.

Stayed in cottages 1, 3, 4 and B&B. All clean and tidy. Very good and friendly service over and above that normally expected. Location is very good with easy access to river and nearby Cookham and other River Thames towns/villages. Little Lola, my small dog was also made very welcome and said she enjoyed her time playing with Darwin and Darwin Mike and Nenuca Thomas
Mike and Nenuca Thom (May 2013)
we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay - we could come and go as we pleased -which was a great help for the reason we were visiting that area - good luck for the future and we are sure to see you again
