We accept payment by bank transfer or by Stripe payment. Details of our bank will be sent upon booking.
A non reundable deposit of 50% of the booking total is payable upon making booking.
The balance is payable in full 28 days before arrival.
If you cancel at any point, then please be aware we are not obliged to offer any refund. We recommend you take out your own insurance.Â
In special circumstances we will offer as a gesture of goodwill, to refund you if we can successfully rebook the cottage or West Wing. Refunds are not guaranteed in any circumstances, and will be made pro rata to any successful rebooking.Â
A refundable Damage Deposit of £80.00 will be added to all booking and also a one off check out clean of £65.00. Pets are charged as an additional £5.00/pet/night.
The damage deposit will be refunded by same method as payment was received.
To receive this please ensure you comply with the checking out requests ; removal of all rubbish to the large black and blue bins on site; all kitchen items washed and put away; removal of all traces of pet hair; beds stripped.Â
All damages must be reported and will be charged for.
Noise to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 11.00pm and 8.00am please.
Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the premises from 1st March 2025. Currently smoking or vaping inside any building is not allowed at all. Guests who do so will be politely reminded of our No Smoking policy; for further refusal to comply then the booking will be cancelled with 1 week's notice and the guest/s asked to check out. No refunds given.Â
We can provide Gas and Electric Safety Certificates, EPC, Public Liability Insurance Certificate, and Fire Risk Assessment upon request.
Any booking entered into with Sheephouse Manor does not constitute a tenancy. All bookings take the form of a Licence to occupy accommodation. All bookings are taken at the owner - Mrs Caroline Street's personal discretion and can be terminated with notice for such things as unreasonable behaviour ( causing damage, smoking, causing a nuisance to owner and/or other guests) and/or not conforming to the T's&C's on the Sheephouse Manor website.
Upon a booking being confirmed, guests will have the owner's personal permission to stay in the designated cottage or in the West Wing during the set agreed dates only. This permission can be withdrawn on giving notice.
Should a maintenance issue occur, then guests are required to report this to the owner or staff as soon as possible. Guests must allow access to the cottage or West Wing, given reasonable notice, to put right such faults and for any jobs relating to regular maintenance. Â
We maintain the right to inspect inside any property on a regular basis to assess for damage or misuse or evidence of smoking.Â
